Foil Blade - Elite Series
Exquisitely sharp - Extremely durable.
Our second generation foil blade is precision machined from a solid piece of 440C knife grade stainless steel to a set of very exacting tolerances which are necessary for the slide and lock blade deployment system. The knife edge is ground to a robust 50 degree edge angle and the final heat treatment process brings the blade to a high hardness of HRC 60-63 required for repeated cutting operations against glass bottle necks.
The default lock action has been increased over the original blade design which delivers a smooth slide and lock action. Additionally the design allows for further dine tuning of locking security via the addition of an isolating ball into one of two positions. The locking ball are a part of the Elite Series tuning and spares kit which can be purchased separately and includes one foil blade. Here >>>
